Words.

They're constantly swirling around in my head, an endless cycle. I don't see them stopping anytime soon.

And neither am I.

I started Totally Graced the summer before my freshman year of high school. At the time, I wanted an outlet to talk about my love for all things fashion and beauty. It has since evolved into so much more.

I believe in the power of words. They can change you. Think about all of the quotes, song lyrics, phrases that have stuck with you over the years. Something you read that seemed to punch you in the heart. A song lyric that made you think, "Whoa. I feel that." All of those things that made you feel so deeply, that struck your very core- just words. Twenty-six simple letters pulled together to cause you to feel. Words have power- such a unique power that I cannot help but be drawn to them.

I believe that everyone has something to say. Think about it. We each have lived our own unique, complex life filled with different experiences. We each have our own unique fingerprint to leave on the world. We each have our own unique voice. You have something to say that no one else can say for you. We all do.

I believe that we were created to create. Think about it. We were placed on this amazing, mind-blowingly beautiful earth by a Creator who wove each atom of our very being together. We are surrounded by creation, by creativity- how can we help but be creative ourselves? We were each born with our own unique gifts and talents- how could we not use them?

This is my space for just that. For the words that I cannot seem to contain; words that spill off my fingertips faster than I can absorb them. A space that celebrates creativity, in all of its forms. A space to celebrate life, and the ups and downs that come along with that journey.
